Southeast Asians are getting online like never before. Now, China’s Huawei Marine plans to build a new undersea high speed cable system that will connect Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand and boost bandwidth in the region. With half of the region’s 600 million-strong population expected to be online in three years – a 20 percent jump from current levels -- the Internet will help boost the region's economy in new and dynamic ways.
